Jarek Kudaj was born in Warsaw in 1949. From 1969 to 1975, he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź. Between 1976 and 1982, he participated in the activities of the self-education group *Seminarium Warszawskie* (The Warsaw Seminar), where he radically revised the artistic views he had formed during his formal studies. In 1987, he began working in the United States at Sax Communications. Initially employed as a graphic designer and animator—and later as an editor and art director.
Every work of art exists solely on a conceptual level. Such is its nature; it is a conceptual construct. Art remains external to its material object. These elements cannot be separated, nor can they be evaluated based solely on their material value or exclusively on their intellectual value. The conceptual essence of art has become increasingly manifest—or visible—within contemporary art, tracing a trajectory from the early 20th century—from Dadaism, through the avant-garde and Conceptual Art—up to the present day.
It encompasses artistic activity spanning from approximately 2010 to the present day. These include, among others, projects exploring analogies between natural vision and digital imaging.
